Physiotherapist to Habilitation

The role of physiotherapist is a key piece in our operations to ensure quality care for children with disabilities.

The tasks are varied, including responsibility for investigation, assessment, treatment, and provision/prescription of aids. You will also work with group activities that include pool training and gymnastics groups. The offer is for a one-year temporary position due to ongoing parental leave. There is a possibility of extension.

About You

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist and welcome applications from both newly graduated and experienced professionals. It is also an advantage if you have previous experience in habilitation and/or neurology. Good collaboration skills are important as you will work closely with your team and have contacts outside your own department. As a person, you have good pedagogical skills, are goal-oriented, and are clear and structured in your work to strengthen good care for our patients together with your colleagues. Since travel is involved in the position, a valid driver's license (B) is required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Your Future Workplace

The habilitation is a specialist service that provides support to children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities and their relatives. We work in interdisciplinary teams consisting of occupational therapists, social workers, speech therapists, doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, nurses, and special educators. The team also has access to medical secretaries and technicians. The habilitation serves the entire southern Kalmar County and is located at the Kalmar County Hospital. Working hours are Monday to Friday, daytime.

Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an acute care facility with specialist care, maternity care, and postpartum care. Over 2300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents. Our employees' continuous development efforts lead to good results in several national measurements. The hospital is located near Kalmar city center and Kalmarsund.
